Profiling wheels
Truing of the grinding wheel to perfect geometry
is a very important factor to achieve a good
grinding results.
Any radial or axial distortions may cause vibration
and, as a consequence, poor cutting edge quality
and/or unacceptable surface finish.
Truing of the Toolgal wheel is preferably conducted
in separate profile grinding machine using a
silicon carbide wheel.
Recommendation CGW 120 grit
There are several suitable profile grinding machines
on the market. Examples of manufactures of these
machines are Geiger, Cleveland, Wendt and Junker.
