New C.E.O. for Toolgal - Mr. Eyal Kaully

Mr. Shalom Green Toolgal's Chairman of the Board has announced the nomination of Mr. Eyal Kaully as Toolgal's C.E.O.: "Eyal Kaully brings to Toolgal rich experience of over 19 years in international sales & marketing, business development, process engineering, R&D and production positions… all of us in Toolgal will work with Eyal to obtain Toolgal's continuous growth and success". Eyal Kaully has joined Toolgal a couple of weeks ago: "although a short time on the job, I have come to appreciate how professional and dedicated the people in Toolgal are… I am also realizing, time and again, how deep the knowledge base in Toolgal is". With a BSc. in Materials Science and an MBA degree, Eyal's experience covers various industries such as semiconductors, stainless steels process flow equipment and industrial furnaces. Eyal is married with 3 children.

Eyal stresses Toolgal's commitment to quality and service: "we believe in long term relationships with our customers. We should be their partners and listen carefully to their needs… Toolgal's organization needs to be structured in such a way that will produce first class products and service to our customers". Eyal also mentioned the need for team work and mutual support to achieve these goals.

As for the company's vision, Eyal Kaully remains committed to the idea of strengthening Toolgal's position as a "provider of leading products in the arena of Diamond Tools".

Moritz & Toolgal - over 35 Years of Cooperation

The cooperation between Toolgal and Mortiz spans over a period of 35 years and covers an entire family history as you can see in the pictures adjoined.
Gregor Mortiz, current owner and manager explains : “ in the family pictured you can find my brother and myself as children together with my father, mother, grandfather and grandmother. In the middle featured is the very first diamond blade we have got, of course from Toolgal! “
Mortiz company was established in 1971. At first the company was dealing with equipment for stone cutters. Gregor, who together with Eric his brother are managing the Moritz business, explains how it all commenced : “my father took part in an exhibition where he met S. Manoach who suggested to him to start a business with diamond tools. At that time it was a brand new technology” . So the Moritz couple traveled to Toolgal where they acquired some skills as how to assemble diamond blades.
“From there on the business grew and now we look back on over 35 years of common history between Mortiz and Toolgal” Gregor says. IN 2005 when the founder of the company passed away Gregor and Eric took over the business: “Since we had always been involved in business and many people from Toolgal are like very good friends of us, the take over of the company was quite smooth. Our vision is to increase steadily our business activities in Germany and specifically to increase the chain business in the near future”.

Key Tool Engineering Solution - Toolgal's New Partner in India

Toolgal has recently signed a cooperation agreement with KeyTool Engineering Solutions Company PVT, LTD. from India. At the culmination of their visit to India, Mr. S.Green and Mr. E.Gal from Toolgal have established a cooperation agreement between Toolgal and Keytool Engineering for the Grinding Wheels product line. Mr. Green has stated: "We appreciate the potential of the Indian market and believe that with a solid strategy and an effective local partner, Toolgal products can generate impressive sales in this important market".

Established in 2005, Keytool is a leading distributor in Engineering products trading business with around 32 channel partners located all around India, catering to the requirements of over 1800 clients.
Keytool's main office (5000 sq. feet) is situated at Pune in the Chakan Industrial area - an Industrial Hub surrounded by major OEMa like Volkswagon, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Hyundai Earth Movers, Bajaj Auto Tata Motors etc.
Keytool has succeeded in developing a strong marketing network covering large areas of India through an esteemed partners channel who also have their own team of experienced sales & marketing engineers. Amongst Keytool's highly valued customers are important companies such as: Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Bhushan Steel Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd., Maruti Suzuki Ltd., Hero Honda Ltd., TVS Suzuki, Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd.

In July, Keytools has arranged for Toolgal's product to be tested in Force Motors company in Pune. The product was tested thereagainst a leading product – TAEGUTEC - for Rough Face Milling (125 mm diameter).
The main test's results featured:

Increase in productivity by 51.57
Total operation cost reduced by 39%
Tool cost increased by 103%
Machine cost reduced by 40%

Good Results for HiQ Fluting Solution in Switzerland

Success to Toolgal's HiQ Fluting Wheel in Switzerland Trials In the past month Toolgal's RM6 wheel has been tested by a leading Swiss cutting tools manufacturer.
During the trials, the Toolgal product has been benchmarked with 2 other international leading brands.

End Mill 16mm diameter with 4 teeth
Tested on a 3000 Hawemat machine
30 tools were produced for each wheel
1 dressing operation was performed on each wheel

Toolgal Grinding Data:

Vc = 15 m/s
Ae = 6,23 mm – ONE PASS
Vf = 120 mm/min – other 2 brands when reaching 80 mm/min had to be removed from the machine
Qw – 12.46

The results of the test attested that:

Toolgal's brand generated 30-50% better productivity then the other 2 brands
Toolgal's product pricing was about 30% more price competitive than the competition
Double value - better performance & better pricing
Swiss customer declared at the end of the trial that Toolgal's quality performance was absolutely superior to other 2 competitors.

Toolgal in the Diamond Jewelry Business

Toolgal has been manufacturing for years GROOVING WHEELS for the Diamond Jewelry market. The Grooving Wheels are used for Invisible Setting of the Heart shaped diamonds. All of the wheels are supplied with different angles as per required. Our agent for this market is Bettonville company.

Toolgal is Going Green

In recent months,Toolgal has taken several steps to promote “Green” ideas of conduct:

“Green packages” made of re-cycled paper have replaced existing packages. Special stickers have also been designed for this purpose.
Thermal Energy Saving System (TESS) was installed. With this system, Toolgal accumulates Slurry Ice during night time and uses it for chilling water during peak hours. Via this system Toolgal is moving the load from peak time to off-peak time.

All of the above steps have been taken in order to promote Toolgal’s commitment to Green consumption ideology.
