New CEO nomination for Diaglobe Norway

Mr. Einar Wear Strand has been nominated last month as the new CEO of Diaglobe, Norway. With this nomination Toolgal has actually completed full ownership over Diaglobe. Mr. Einar Wear-Strand is 39 years old, married to Hanne, and has three children. Einar, is a graduate in Pedagogy studies and has extensive sales experience of over 15 years.
Only a few weeks in his new positions Einar points out that : "People in Toolgal seem to have a lot of interest and knowledge of this business which is the best kind of equity there is". As for his future plans Einar believes: "Diaglobe has a lot to do in Norway and hopefully we can create good and healthy business during 2010". The Toolgal team across the globe wishes Einar and his colleagues best of luck for 2010.

Impressive results for Girnding Wheels in Germany

Success to Toolgal's iQ Fluting Wheel in Germany in test held the past month with a leading German cutting tools manufacturer. During the trials, Toolgal product have been benchmarked with two other international leading brands. Test results:

New Projects for Toolgal in Israel

A few new and interesting projects Toolgal is taking part in Israel:

Toolgal has won a tender for the drilling of stones on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Toolgal will supply special drills at 177mm diameter size. The scope of drilling is of 2500 wheels.
Toolgal is currently supplying sharpening tools for HTC machines and other machines for various projects throughout Israel at a total of 18,000 sqm . The tools will be supplied in six different sharpening levels.
This month Toolgal has initiated a special sales promotion in collaboration with one of its distributors – free gift of a 10" laptop with a purchase of a minimum sum. Toolgal is preparing to allocate about 100 laptops in this promotion.

Toolgal is presenting changes in its chain due to market changes. Around 80% of all chains sold in Europe are now sold on a roll (425 Links). This trend attests to the fact that customers are switching onto the advantages of making their "own" chain length. The dealers have asked for years for this option, and Toolgal is now giving it to them. In addition, Toolgal is the only company who can provide Bars and Chains for all machine platforms and an interchangeable bar for Husquvarna, and ICS machines (14” - 35cm) - this can explain the growth and continued interest in this product line.

Happy Holidays

At the end of December believers of the three main religions will be celebrating their holidays.

With 2010 on our threshold Eyal Kaully, Toolgal's CEO, looks back at 2009 as a: "year of challenge where Toolgal adapted it's operation and organization to better cope with world economic and market changes". Looking onwards to 2010, Eyal believes that the consumption of Toolgal products will increase since the customers' stock levels have considerably decreased. In 2010, Eyal believes: "Toolgal will further develop its distribution network mainly in Europe , USA and India … We are developing new business opportunities through collaborations with local and international companies… we will focus on bringing new and innovative solutions to the market ". Eyal also beleives that Toolgal will further increase its subsidiaries' capabilities to generate sales through a range of new products. Eyal states that Toolgal: "will work on increasing the market's awareness of its products based on existing and new customers…. Toolgal will offer a better service level by improving customer support availability and a shorter response time". Eyal admits that these objectives for Toolgal are ambitious yet Eyal believes that: "Toolgal is blessed with the Right people and the Spirit to make it all happen".
