Floor Saw + Segments

loor sawing covers a wide range of materials and machine types. Apart form standard blades, special blades and mills for cutting expansion joints can be designed and produced.
Most floor sawing machines use a universal 1" centre hole with an additional pinhole (referred to as 1+1). Other configurations are available on request. The Sundt) Electric Floor Saw can be used with either the 1"or a 60mm arbor and can be configured for flush cutting against walls.
Bond specifications and diamond concentrations are adapted to the machine power and type of material being cut. Proper information on cutting conditions should be supplied in order to assist in selecting the optimum blade.

* Steel Core Types:
NS normal slot (which is wide slot with 40mm teeth), SS slim slot (which is narrow slot with 40mm long teeth), SK slim slot with keyhole shape at end of gullet, KK in between configuration. Fewer teeth than SS, narrower slots than NS

premature loss of segments caused by aggressive slurry eating away at the joint of the segment base and the steel core. It is usual to use an undercutting system for asphalt blades and fresh concrete cutting. For cured concrete it is found occasionally where cuts are repeatedly made into loose aggregate beneath the concrete.
Cooling is advised wherever possible in order to extend tool lifetime; it is compulsory for all brazed blades.
